FW: Monday Learning 4

Hope you are doing well. To fight the Monday blues, here is a RealAcad learning.

1. 'Work-life juggling' strategy: Remember how the CEO of Coca Cola, Bryan Dyson, described his work-life balancing act?
When asked about work-life demands, Bryan said "Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling 5 balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends and spirit - and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.
But the other 4 balls - family, health, friends and spirit - are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged, or even shattered. They will never be the same."
This week, let's remember about the precious 'glass' balls in striving to balance our lives.

2.  Real learning starts after we learn to laugh at ourselves:
Don't feel so bad about yourself. Half the people you know are below average.   :)

Best regards,
Ankur

Success is what you attract by the person you become.
