Before keeping any living thing as a pet, properly studying is a big way to show respect.

I can target to buy top 3 species as a peaceful combination or the last fish as an active aquarium.
From studying about them, found that the first 3 have peaceful behavior and the last one is semi-active which tends to bite other fishes when hungry.
So, if I were to keep BAT, I should have them alone.

FT, NT and RNT are kind of sensitive fishes .. coincidentally they all can survive in the same temp: and pH range. However, they are not as strong as BAT, which can withstand up to temp: 28C and pH 8.

The thing is, the idea of having super tiny aquarium is striped off... I will not keep fishes in extremely limited environment.
I should buy a proper tank which has at least 30 cm width.

I need some plants and rocks to make the home of fishes, which are not mere decorations but essential furniture to their home.

Need to buy aqua food regularly and ... Also require air pump for oxygen and healthy pH balance. water must be changed roughly once a week as well..

WoW..!! through the study, the cost+ responsibility goes up but I feel better than just buying some small fishes and a cheap water basket.

Who knows... I might also buy a couple of Pleco fishes to keep the aquarium clean naturally.. ;-)

Or.. Shall I just start with the Pleco fish??
